Secure Freight offers a wide range of ocean freight services. As an NVOCC and FCL expert, we assist our customers in analysing freight costs to determine the best mode of transport. One of the advantages of using Secure Freight is that we contract with many chief carriers so we can offer different types of services to our clients. Having multiple schedules every week enables us to meet the various needs of our shipping customers. With volume contracts in place, we are able to offer competitive pricing in LCL and FCL movements.
Logistics Management
The core of our business is offering transportation logistics services to our customers. Logistics management is not only about freight and shipping but also how well we manage our customers’ purchase orders right from the beginning. From follow up to shipping to documentation through customs and final delivery, we take part in pre-planning how shipments are collected, sorted, labeled and grouped for sending. Some shipments may need re-processing at destination such as picking, packing, re-packaging, labeling, palletizing and warehousing. Our aim is to streamline our customers’ supply chain process to achieve maximum efficiency, so that our customers can focus on more important issues in their businesses.
Warehouse & Distribution
Our sufferance warehouses enable us to handle bonded cargo and de-consolidation of containers. Operating our own warehouses means better cross-dock services, first-hand data in case of any shipment shortage or discrepancy as well as more flexibility in case of special needs such as after hours pickup or delivery. Our cargo comes in different sizes and shapes. Whether it is crates, cartons, bundles, pails, drums or hanging units, we handle with utmost care and experience. We also offer small businesses a storage opportunity and distribution services. Most small businesses have limited storage and distribution facilities. Once cargo is cleared, shipments can be stored in our warehouse for distribution at a later date. While storage and distribution service remain an extra service to our customers, we practice the “just-in-time” theory by large. Most businesses strive to limit their inventory and we assist them by keeping their supply chain well managed so that the turn-around time is quick from procurement til final delivery.
